EVENTS

Who doesn't like an upcoming event or two?

979FM hold many events each year that aim towards community involvement. Events that we have held in the past include sausage sizzles, outside broadcasts (in our specially fitted-out bus) and most recently 979FM concerts.

All events are run by the lovely dedicated volunteers at 979FM. These events are used to help fundraise for the 979FM community and all proceeds go the organisation to improve the quality of the equipment and the studios.

At this point in time, 979FM has had the notice that they will have to move out of their well-loved studio's at Mowbray College in Melton, so there will be big fundraising events on the Events lineup coming up very soon to help towards moving to a new studio, so keep well informed!
