SUDANESE PROGRAM

Melton plays host to over 70 southern Sudanese families. Each Monday from 10pm most of them tune in to the Sudanese radio program to catch the latest news from Sudan in either Dinka or Simple Arabic.

Thanks to the Sudan radio service in Nairobi, we are able to keep in touch with all the latest happenings in that part of the world. Add to this all the information and happenings here in the west of Melbourne and you have an informative program of great value to new settlers.

Ambrose Mareng is the host of the program and plays Sudanese music as well as giving out community service and settlement announcements.
