VACANCIES AT 979FM
979fm (3 Rim Inc.) is going through a massive growth spurt and with such growth comes the need for more volunteers.
Volunteers are required in many areas of the station’s operation.
We have some vacancies in some very specific areas.
If you would like to become part of the westerns suburbs’ fastest growing community radio station and have skills, or would like to train in any of the following areas, please contact 979fm.
We are at present needing volunteers with audio and rf technical skills to help in and around the station. We are looking to train some volunteers to assist with our outside broadcast unit which broadcasts the BFL game of the week during the football season most weeks.
Volunteers with networking and computer repair skills are also needed.
Behind the mike we need daytime volunteers to train to run, or assist, with a program.
Behind the scenes the jobs are immeasurable.
WE are presently planning a new youth announcers’ basic training course.
Any youths 15 + are invited to email their details.. It is expected the course will run on Saturday Morning’s starting end of July.
